Demeter Biosciences is now offering monthly delivery of live brine shrimp. We offer 15g of live brine shrimp each month for $25, including delivery. Currently delivery to the Eastern US and some of the Midwest US is possible. Why our brine shrimp?

      Not all brine shrimp are the same. In natural high-salt lakes, brine shrimp live in a seasonal boom and bust cycle. Brine shrimp "eggs" and adults are often harvested towards the end of the bust cycle, when their ecosystem is low on algal feed and they are starving. These starving brine shrimp are not the ideal nutrition for your fish. Our brine shrimp are constantly kept fed by their ideal nutrition, the algae Dunaliella. As a result, they are at least 40% protein by dry weight. 

Our land-based, organic, and sustainable growth systems allow us to guarantee consistent and quality brine shrimp  season after season. At Demeter, we are farming nutritious brine shrimp for healthier fish.
